5 Claude Skills to make your content sound more human, persuasive, and strategic

A practical Life of Arjav guide for creators, founders, marketers, copywriters, agency owners, and anyone tired of generic AI writing.

Brand: Life of Arjav
Instagram: @lifeofarjav
Keyword: Comment HUMAN to get this guide
Best used with: Claude, Claude Code, Claude Skills, GitHub skills, reusable writing examples, and your own content voice

What this guide helps you do

Most people do not have an AI writing problem.

They have an AI setup problem.

They ask Claude to write content with no voice samples, no strategy, no audience context, no examples, no copy rules, and no editing process.

Then they complain that the output sounds generic.

This guide gives you a better system.

You will use 5 Skills:

  1. Humanizer to remove common AI writing patterns
  2. Copywriting to give Claude a real marketing copy process
  3. Marketing Psychology to make messages more persuasive for the right reasons
  4. Content Strategy to plan what to say before writing posts
  5. Skill Creator to turn your own writing style into a reusable custom Skill

The point is not to make Claude write like a fake human.

The point is to stop using Claude like a blank chatbot and start giving it real writing systems.

What Claude Skills are

Claude Skills are reusable folders of instructions, scripts, and resources that Claude can load when a task matches the Skill description.

Simple version:

A Skill is a saved workflow.

Instead of explaining the same task every time, you teach Claude how the job should be done once, then reuse that process.

A good Skill usually has:

  • a clear name
  • a description of when it should be used
  • instructions Claude can follow
  • examples
  • templates
  • optional scripts
  • quality rules

This is why Skills are useful for content.

Writing content is not one task.

It is a system:

  1. Choose the right topic
  2. Understand the audience
  3. Pick the angle
  4. Write the draft
  5. Strengthen the hook
  6. Improve the copy
  7. Remove AI tells
  8. Match your voice
  9. Check the final output before publishing

Skills let you break that system into reusable parts.

The setting to enable first

Before using Skills, enable code execution in Claude where applicable.

In Claude, Skills require code execution to be enabled. If you are using Claude Code, Skills are available through the Claude Code setup and supported Skill directories.

Your exact interface may vary, but the general setup is:

  1. Open Claude settings
  2. Go to Customize
  3. Go to Skills
  4. Enable Skills if needed
  5. Enable code execution if prompted
  6. Add or upload the Skills you want to use
  7. Start a new chat after installing Skills

If you use Claude Code, install Skills into the expected skills folder or use the Skills CLI.

The brutal truth about "human-sounding" AI writing

A lot of people try to humanize AI text at the end.

That helps, but it is not enough.

If the idea is weak, Humanizer will only make a weak idea sound less robotic.

The real system is:

Strategy first.
Psychology second.
Copywriting third.
Humanizer fourth.
Custom voice last.

That order matters.

If you start with Humanizer, you are polishing a draft before knowing whether the draft is worth publishing.

Do not do that.

Use the 5 Skills in this order.

Step 1: Content Strategy

Use this to decide what you should create.

Ask:

What content should I create for this audience, goal, and offer?

Step 2: Marketing Psychology

Use this to decide why the message should work.

Ask:

What psychological principle makes this angle compelling without becoming manipulative?

Step 3: Copywriting

Use this to turn the idea into stronger copy.

Ask:

Improve the hook, promise, proof, CTA, and overall persuasion.

Step 4: Humanizer

Use this to remove AI tells.

Ask:

Make this sound more natural, specific, and human without adding unsupported facts.

Step 5: Skill Creator

Use this to turn your own voice and workflow into a reusable Skill.

Ask:

Create a custom Skill from my examples, voice rules, structure, and formatting preferences.

This is how you move from random prompting to a repeatable writing system.

Skill 01: Humanizer

Repository

Repo: https://github.com/blader/humanizer
Direct Skill file: https://github.com/blader/humanizer/blob/main/SKILL.md
Install: npx skills add blader/humanizer --global

What it does

Humanizer is designed to remove common signs of AI-generated writing and make text sound more natural.

Use it when you already have a draft but it sounds:

  • inflated
  • generic
  • overly polished
  • repetitive
  • robotic
  • full of vague claims
  • too "AI assistant" coded
  • too smooth without enough edge or specificity

The Skill is useful as a final editing pass, not as the first writing step.

What it helps remove

Use Humanizer to clean up:

1. Inflated language

Bad:

This groundbreaking system empowers users to unlock unprecedented productivity.

Better:

This helps users get more done with less manual work.

2. Generic filler

Bad:

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, businesses must leverage innovative solutions.

Better:

Most teams waste hours moving the same information between tools.

3. Forced contrasts

Bad:

It is not just a tool, it is a transformation.

Better:

It works best when you use it for one repeated workflow.

4. Repetitive structure

Bad:

It saves time. It improves output. It increases productivity. It helps teams work smarter.

Better:

It saves time by turning repeated work into a reusable workflow.

5. Robotic transitions

Bad:

Furthermore, it is important to note that...

Better:

The important part is...

6. Overused AI phrases

Watch for phrases like:

  • unlock potential
  • seamless experience
  • cutting-edge
  • robust solution
  • game-changing
  • transformative
  • empowers users
  • dynamic landscape

These can be useful occasionally, but repeated together they make content sound machine-written.

Best use cases

Use Humanizer for:

  • Instagram captions
  • LinkedIn posts
  • X threads
  • YouTube scripts
  • landing page sections
  • sales emails
  • newsletters
  • founder updates
  • client reports
  • content drafts generated by Claude or ChatGPT

Humanizer prompt

Paste this after drafting content.

Use the Humanizer Skill on this draft.

Goal:
Make it sound more natural, specific, and human.

Rules:
1. Remove obvious AI tells.
2. Keep the core meaning.
3. Do not add unsupported facts.
4. Do not make it overly casual.
5. Preserve my point of view.
6. Cut filler.
7. Make sentences more varied.
8. Keep it clear and direct.

Draft:
[Paste draft]

Humanizer with voice calibration

Use this when you want the rewrite closer to your own style.

Use the Humanizer Skill.

Here is a sample of my writing style:
[Paste 2 to 3 examples of your own writing]

Now humanize this draft so it sounds closer to my style:
[Paste draft]

Keep the meaning.
Do not add facts.
Do not over-polish.
Keep it sharp and natural.

Quality checklist

Before publishing, ask:

  • Does it sound like a person wrote it?
  • Is there a clear point of view?
  • Did it remove vague AI phrasing?
  • Did it preserve meaning?
  • Did it avoid adding fake specificity?
  • Is the final version shorter and clearer?

If the answer is no, run another pass.

Skill 02: Copywriting

Repository

Repo: https://github.com/coreyhaines31/marketingskills
Direct Skill file: https://github.com/coreyhaines31/marketingskills/blob/main/skills/copywriting/SKILL.md
Install: npx skills add coreyhaines31/marketingskills --skill copywriting

What it does

The Copywriting Skill gives Claude a stronger process for writing and improving marketing copy.

Use it when you need copy that persuades someone to take a specific action.

This is different from general writing.

General writing explains.

Copywriting moves someone from interest to action.

Best use cases

Use it for:

  • landing page headlines
  • hero sections
  • subheadlines
  • product descriptions
  • pricing pages
  • offer positioning
  • CTAs
  • feature explanations
  • benefit-driven copy
  • sales pages
  • launch pages

The core copy structure

A simple structure that works well:

Problem -> Promise -> Proof -> CTA

Problem

Name what the audience already feels.

Example:

Your AI drafts sound polished but generic.

Promise

Show what improves.

Example:

Use Skills to make Claude write with strategy, voice, and structure.

Proof

Make the claim more believable.

Example:

The workflow uses reusable Skills for strategy, psychology, copywriting, humanizing, and custom voice.

CTA

Tell them what to do next.

Example:

Comment HUMAN and I will send you the full guide.

Weak CTA vs stronger CTA

Weak:

Learn more

Stronger:

See the full setup

Weak:

Get started

Stronger:

Build your first content Skill

Weak:

Contact us

Stronger:

Book a 15-minute strategy call

The stronger CTA tells the reader what will happen next.

Copywriting prompt

Use this when improving a page, post, or offer.

Use the Copywriting Skill to improve this copy.

Context:
[What this is for]

Audience:
[Who this is for]

Goal:
[What action should they take?]

Offer:
[What is being offered]

Proof:
[Testimonials, metrics, examples, or credibility points]

Current copy:
[Paste copy]

Please improve:
1. Hook
2. Problem
3. Promise
4. Proof
5. CTA
6. Clarity
7. Specificity
8. Objection handling

Give me:
- improved version
- what changed
- why it is stronger
- 3 alternate hooks
- 3 CTA options

Copywriting review prompt

Use this before publishing.

Review this copy like a conversion copywriter.

Check:
1. Is the problem clear?
2. Is the promise specific?
3. Is the proof believable?
4. Is the CTA obvious?
5. Is there unnecessary filler?
6. Is the value clear in 5 seconds?
7. Does the copy match the audience's actual language?

Draft:
[Paste copy]

Give me:
- score out of 10
- biggest weakness
- what to cut
- what to rewrite
- final improved version

Quality checklist

Good copy should be:

  • clear
  • specific
  • easy to skim
  • audience-aware
  • benefit-driven
  • believable
  • action-oriented
  • free from empty hype

If your copy sounds smart but does not make action easier, it is not good copy.

Skill 03: Marketing Psychology

Repository

Repo: https://github.com/coreyhaines31/marketingskills
Direct Skill file: https://github.com/coreyhaines31/marketingskills/blob/main/skills/marketing-psychology/SKILL.md
Install: npx skills add coreyhaines31/marketingskills --skill marketing-psychology

What it does

The Marketing Psychology Skill helps Claude apply behavioral principles and mental models to marketing.

Use it to understand why a message works, not only how it sounds.

This matters because persuasion is not about adding random tricks.

It is about understanding how people decide.

Useful principles to apply

Framing

How you present the same idea changes how it is perceived.

Example:

Instead of "AI helps you write faster," try "AI helps you stop starting from a blank page."

Social proof

People trust what other people have already validated.

Example:

Used by 200 agency owners to repurpose sales calls into content.

Only use this if it is true.

Anchoring

The first number, comparison, or reference point shapes judgment.

Example:

Instead of spending 4 hours rewriting a post, use this 10-minute editing workflow.

Curiosity

A useful gap makes people want to continue.

Example:

Most AI writing sounds fake because it skips one step.

Loss aversion

People often act faster to avoid a loss than to gain a benefit.

Example:

You are not just saving time. You are stopping generic content from weakening trust.

Specificity

Specific claims are easier to believe than vague claims.

Bad:

Improve your content.

Better:

Turn one rough idea into a hook, outline, caption, and CTA.

Decision friction

People avoid action when the next step is unclear or feels risky.

Bad:

Get started now.

Better:

Comment HUMAN and I will send you the setup guide.

Ethical usage rule

Use psychology to make the right action easier.

Do not use it to trick people into the wrong action.

That is the line.

If your product, offer, or content does not create value, psychology will only make the manipulation more obvious.

Marketing Psychology prompt

Use the Marketing Psychology Skill on this message.

Context:
[What this message is for]

Audience:
[Who will see it]

Goal:
[What action should they take]

Draft:
[Paste message]

Analyze:
1. Which psychological principles apply?
2. Which principle fits best?
3. What is the current weakness?
4. Where is the decision friction?
5. What would make this more specific?
6. What would make this more trustworthy?
7. What should be removed because it feels manipulative?

Then rewrite the message using the best-fitting principle.

Psychology selection prompt

Use this when you are choosing an angle.

I want to create content about:
[Topic]

Audience:
[Audience]

Goal:
[Goal]

Use the Marketing Psychology Skill to suggest 5 possible angles using:
- curiosity
- loss aversion
- framing
- specificity
- social proof
- contrast
- decision friction

For each angle, give:
1. Hook
2. Why it works
3. Risk if overdone
4. More ethical version

Quality checklist

Before using a psychology-driven message, check:

  • Is the claim true?
  • Is the promise believable?
  • Is the audience respected?
  • Is the principle relevant?
  • Is the message clearer, not just more persuasive?
  • Would I stand behind this publicly?

If not, do not use it.

Skill 04: Content Strategy

Repository

Repo: https://github.com/coreyhaines31/marketingskills
Direct Skill file: https://github.com/coreyhaines31/marketingskills/blob/main/skills/content-strategy/SKILL.md
Install: npx skills add coreyhaines31/marketingskills --skill content-strategy

What it does

The Content Strategy Skill helps Claude decide what content to create before it writes anything.

That matters because most bad content is not badly written.

It is badly chosen.

The topic is weak. The audience is unclear. The offer is disconnected. The angle is generic. The post has no role in a larger system.

This Skill helps you plan content that supports a goal.

Best use cases

Use it for:

  • content pillars
  • topic ideas
  • post angles
  • editorial calendars
  • series concepts
  • repurposing plans
  • SEO content strategy
  • thought leadership themes
  • creator positioning
  • lead magnet planning

The content strategy hierarchy

Use this order:

Audience -> Problem -> Promise -> Pillars -> Angles -> Formats -> Calendar

Audience

Who is this for?

Problem

What do they actually struggle with?

Promise

What do you help them do better?

Pillars

What topics should you be known for?

Angles

What point of view makes the topic interesting?

Formats

What form should the content take?

Calendar

How do you publish consistently?

Example content pillars

For Life of Arjav, example pillars could be:

AI
Business systems
Creator growth

Each pillar needs angles.

AI

Possible angles:

  • practical workflows
  • Claude systems
  • AI agents
  • prompt systems
  • tool breakdowns

Business systems

Possible angles:

  • SOPs
  • automation
  • lead generation
  • team workflows
  • dashboards

Creator growth

Possible angles:

  • content strategy
  • hooks
  • formats
  • thumbnails
  • personal brand systems
  • repurposing

Content Strategy prompt

Use the Content Strategy Skill.

Business:
[What you do]

Audience:
[Who you serve]

Offer:
[What you sell or want people to care about]

Goal:
[Traffic, followers, leads, trust, sales, authority, education]

Current content:
[What you post now]

Constraints:
[Time, format, team, platform]

Create:
1. 3 to 5 content pillars
2. 10 topic ideas per pillar
3. 5 strong angles
4. A 2-week content calendar
5. 5 repeatable series concepts
6. Repurposing plan
7. What not to post

Blank page to content plan prompt

I am staring at a blank page.

Use the Content Strategy Skill to help me decide what to create.

Here is my context:
- Audience:
- Offer:
- Expertise:
- Current goal:
- Platform:
- Topics I can talk about:
- Topics I should avoid:

Give me:
1. Best content pillar to focus on
2. 10 post ideas
3. 5 hooks
4. 3 carousel ideas
5. 3 reel ideas
6. 1 weekly content plan
7. What I should create first and why

Quality checklist

Good content strategy should answer:

  • Who is this for?
  • Why should they care?
  • What should I be known for?
  • What content builds trust?
  • What content drives action?
  • What should I repeat?
  • What should I stop posting?

If your content strategy is just a list of topics, it is incomplete.

Skill 05: Skill Creator

Repository

Repo: https://github.com/anthropics/skills
Direct Skill file: https://github.com/anthropics/skills/blob/main/skills/skill-creator/SKILL.md
Install: npx skills add https://github.com/anthropics/skills --skill skill-creator

What it does

Skill Creator helps you create, modify, improve, and test Skills.

For content, this is the most important part of the whole system.

Why?

Because third-party Skills can improve the process.

But your voice is not in those repos.

Your voice has to come from your own examples, preferences, structure, audience, and rules.

Skill Creator helps turn that into a reusable Skill.

What to feed it

Create a folder called:

my-voice/

Inside it, add:

my-voice/
  best-posts.md
  bad-phrases.md
  voice-rules.md
  structure-rules.md
  formatting-rules.md
  audience-context.md
  examples/

What each file should contain

best-posts.md

Add 5 to 10 of your best posts.

Choose posts that:

  • performed well
  • sound like you
  • have a clear point of view
  • represent the tone you want to repeat
  • match the audience you want to attract

bad-phrases.md

List phrases you do not want Claude to use.

Example:

# Phrases to avoid

- unlock your potential
- in today's fast-paced world
- game-changing
- transformative
- seamless
- cutting-edge

- Use specific examples.
- Do not over-explain.
- Do not sound motivational unless the idea has substance.
- Keep the tone practical and founder-focused.

structure-rules.md

Write how you like content structured.

Example:

# Structure Rules

For educational posts:
1. Start with a sharp claim.
2. Name the mistake.
3. Explain the better system.
4. Give examples.
5. End with a clear takeaway.

For carousels:
1. Hook slide
2. Problem slide
3. Framework slide
4. Tactical examples
5. Summary
6. CTA

formatting-rules.md

Write your format preferences.

Example:

# Formatting Rules

- Use short paragraphs.
- Avoid walls of text.
- Use bullets only when they improve clarity.
- Keep captions skimmable.
- Put the main idea near the top.
- CTA should be clear and natural.

audience-context.md

Write who the content is for.

Example:

# Audience Context

This content is for founders, creators, marketers, agency owners, operators, and AI-curious professionals.

They want practical AI systems, not hype.

They care about:
- saving time
- improving output
- building workflows
- creating better content
- growing their business
- avoiding generic AI results

They dislike:
- vague motivation
- obvious AI writing
- fake guru content
- bloated frameworks
- tools with no use case

Skill Creator prompt

Paste this after creating the files above.

Use the Skill Creator Skill.

I want to create a custom content voice Skill.

Goal:
Help Claude write and edit content in my voice.

Use these files:
- best-posts.md
- bad-phrases.md
- voice-rules.md
- structure-rules.md
- formatting-rules.md
- audience-context.md
- examples/

Create:
1. A folder structure for the Skill
2. SKILL.md
3. Clear trigger description
4. Voice rules
5. Structure rules
6. Editing rules
7. Example prompts
8. Quality checklist
9. Test cases

The Skill should help Claude create better first drafts and edit existing drafts to sound more like me.

Custom voice SKILL.md starter

Use this if you want a simple manual version.

# My Voice Content Skill

## Description

Use this Skill whenever I ask Claude to write, rewrite, edit, or improve content in my voice for social posts, scripts, captions, carousels, newsletters, or founder-led content.

## Voice

Write in a direct, practical, human style.

The voice should be:
- clear
- sharp
- simple
- useful
- specific
- strategic
- founder-focused

Avoid:
- generic AI language
- hype
- corporate jargon
- long paragraphs
- over-polished phrasing
- fake urgency
- unsupported claims

## Audience

The audience includes creators, founders, marketers, agency owners, operators, and AI-curious professionals who want practical systems.

## Structure

For educational content:
1. Start with a strong claim or useful tension.
2. Name the common mistake.
3. Explain the better system.
4. Give examples.
5. End with a clear action or takeaway.

## Editing rules

When editing:
1. Cut filler.
2. Make the point sharper.
3. Preserve meaning.
4. Keep the tone human.
5. Make the CTA clearer.
6. Remove repeated phrasing.
7. Do not add facts that were not provided.

## Output

When asked to create content, provide:
- best hook
- structured draft
- caption if needed
- CTA
- 3 alternate hooks
- final quality check

Quality checklist

Your custom voice Skill is working if:

  • outputs sound closer to you
  • Claude avoids your banned phrases
  • drafts need fewer rewrites
  • structure becomes more consistent
  • hooks become sharper
  • CTAs become clearer
  • your examples influence the output
  • the Skill activates only when relevant

If it makes every post sound the same, the Skill is too rigid.

If it barely changes anything, the instructions are too vague.

Final publishing checklist

Before publishing any AI-assisted content, check this.

Strategy

  • Is the topic worth posting?
  • Is the audience clear?
  • Is there one core idea?
  • Does the post support a larger goal?

Psychology

  • Is the angle compelling?
  • Is the persuasion ethical?
  • Is the message specific?
  • Is there unnecessary hype?

Voice

  • Does this sound like me?
  • Are banned phrases removed?

  • Is it too polished?

Humanizer

  • Did it remove AI tells?
  • Did it preserve meaning?

  • Is the final version clear and useful?

Common mistakes

Mistake 1: Using Humanizer first

Humanizer should clean the final draft.

It should not choose the strategy.

Mistake 2: No examples

If Claude has no examples of your writing, it cannot reliably match your voice.

Give it real posts.

Mistake 3: Too many rules

A custom Skill with 200 rigid rules will make your writing stiff.

Give Claude principles, examples, and boundaries.

Mistake 4: No audience context

Your content voice depends on who you are talking to.

Write for a specific audience.

Mistake 5: Copy without proof

Persuasive copy without proof becomes hype.

Add real examples, customer language, demos, screenshots, results, or process evidence.

Mistake 6: Psychology without ethics

Marketing psychology is not a trick bag.

Use it to clarify value, reduce friction, and help people decide.

Do not use it to manipulate.

Troubleshooting

Claude still sounds generic

Likely cause:

  • not enough voice examples
  • no banned phrase list
  • no clear audience
  • weak topic
  • vague prompt

Fix:

Here are 5 examples of my best writing.
Analyze the voice patterns, sentence rhythm, structure, word choices, and CTA style.
Then rewrite the draft using those patterns.

Claude is too casual

Likely cause:

  • Humanizer overcorrected
  • voice rules are too loose
  • no professional examples

Fix:

Make this more natural but keep it professional.
Do not add slang.
Do not make it casual.
Keep the authority and clarity.

Claude writes too much

Likely cause:

  • no length constraint
  • unclear output format
  • too many goals

Fix:

Rewrite this in under 120 words.
Keep one idea.
Cut every sentence that does not move the reader forward.

Claude gets persuasive but inaccurate

Likely cause:

  • no proof file
  • too much copywriting
  • too little evidence

Fix:

Before improving the copy, list which claims are supported, unsupported, or unclear.
Do not strengthen unsupported claims.

Claude creates good ideas but weak hooks

Likely cause:

  • the topic is clear but tension is missing

Fix:

Create 10 hooks using these angles:
1. Common mistake
2. Contrarian belief
3. Painful truth
4. Specific outcome
5. Before and after
6. Curiosity gap
7. Cost of ignoring this
8. Simple framework
9. Myth vs reality
10. Direct command

Then rank them by clarity and scroll-stopping power.

Final note

Claude is not too dumb to write your content.

But Claude is too generic when you give it generic instructions.

If you want better content, stop asking for finished posts from an empty chat.

Give Claude:

  • your strategy
  • your audience
  • your voice
  • your examples
  • your copy rules
  • your psychology rules
  • your editing rules

Then it becomes a writing system.

Not a magic button.

A system.
